There are so many kinds of water proofing. The most common are emulsion elastomeric and epoxy based. All of these are painted and adheres to the concrete ponds. The problems of these kinds of materials are its weather ability, strength and flexibility. Most of them claim to have superior properties but there are 2 major facts that cannot be denied:
1. They are not reinforced.
2. They serve as coating, which means whatever happens to the concrete wall, the coating suffers and ultimately breaks.
